$5 a Day is a funny movie with a lot of laughs. Christopher Walken is responsible for most of those. All his schemes he’s using to not spending any money result in a lot of funny situations, like a scene where they wake up in an empty house that’s for sale and potential customer are shown around.
It really doesn’t matter wat kind of part he plays, Christopher Walken has shown that he can do it all. Whether it’s a serious role in something like King of New York or a crazy scientist in Switch, it’s always a joy to see him act. That fact that this movie has him in a dancing scene was great and automatically earned it an extra point.
If you see the poster/dvd cover for this movie and think that Sharon Stone is also starring in it you’ll be disappointed. She only appears in a couple of scenes and has a small role.
$5 a Day is not a big movie, but manages to entertain thanks to its great story and acting.
