I have had a very busy weekend (I was best man at a friend’s wedding) and didn’t have any time to prepare my posts of this week, so I thought to turn the roles this week. It’s up to you to ask me questions!
So please ask me a question in the comments and will try to answer it (if I want to of course).
While at the wedding, did you at anytime think “hey this wedding resembles a wedding from some movie”?
Hahaha, I don’t watch too many romantic comedies, so I have to say that I didn’t think that. Although I must say that I did give the couple a poster which looked like a movie poster, of course with a picture of them and all the text you normally would expect on it (of course with descriptions about them). The poster represented a gift they will be enjoying later this year.
Oooo pretty cool gift I must say.
It was and I must say I was very happy with the result. For the first “movie poster” I designed I think it looked pretty good. It represented the way she was asked to marry (in a helicopter above Sydney when they were on holiday there). The title of the “movie” on the poster was “Love is in the air”
What actors do you think could be great, but haven’t gotten the right role yet. And what role would do it for them?
That’s a very good question and I currently can’t immediately think of one, but I will try to come up with some names later!
For a long time, mine was Paul Giamatti. But then he got “John Adams” and it was set for him.
Same thing with Greg Kinnear and “As Good as it Gets”.
When the hell are you going to build this extra floor and get the Cinema room of your desires??
Hahaha, that is an excellent question. I still have to get a quote on it. I also hope that my old apartment will sell soon (it’s been for sale for a year now) and get a small profit on it which I can use on that floor. You will hear about it once it’s put into motion!
What classic movies should be remade?
Well, the only right answer to me is none of them. There aren’t that many movies that were remade and were actually better as the original.
Not necessarily. After watching “Rosemary’s Baby” recently I felt it could do with an update.
That’s a story that probably could work in a remake. In general though I don’t mind the different pacing of older movies though.
What is your favorite movie so far released in 2012?
That’s a very easy one to answer: Intouchables. Reviewed it a while ago.
Ooh, that looks quite good. Will have to check it out!
I heard that a very big percentage of the French has seen it, so it has been a very succesful film.
If you could play any character, in any film, who would it be?
I actually did a post on that ages ago, you can read it here:

What is one movie that you are ashamed you have never seen?
I only have to look at my IMDB top 250 list and the movies I have not seen yet like The Shining, Rashomon, Metropolis, Braveheart, Platoon. There are so many I know I know I need to see and still have not.
I noticed that you watched 200 and more from imdb top 250. Did it changed your level of perception of a movie? Like if there’s an underrated movie or not perfect, you just disliked it right away?
Well there are quite a lot of movies I never heard of and was blown away by. There are some of them I really did not like, for example Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf? The acting in it was great, but as a movie it just bored me.
Right – you’re on a desert island and you’ve only managed to save one DVD/blu-ray from your collection. Which film would be the one film you could watch over and over again stuck on your desert island?
Well, glad to hear that it’s a deserted island with some power to watch a DVD 😉 It’s hard choice to just having to take one. It would probably be Groundhog Day as it has this range of emotions and wouldn’t get boring soon. Even though I don’t consider it my favorite movie I think it would be the best one for the situation.
