The Monday Question: Bad rewatch!

It’s Monday and you know what that means, time for a new Monday Question. This past week I rewatched a movie I hadn’t seen in years and liked a lot when I was younger. Seeing it again made me realise it was pretty bad, but still there is one reason I like to rewatch it. This week’s question:

Do you sometimes rewatch a bad movie because of a specific scene or character?

The movie I’m talking about is Little Nicky starring Adam Sandler. Like I said the movie isn’t that good, but the character above is the reason I still enjoy watching it because of his scenes. It’s Tarantino playing a blind preacher who runs away everytime he sees Little Nicky (son of the devil) pass him by. Something happens to him each time and the alternative ending to the movie also stars him. It’s a little role, but I can’t get enough of seeing those bits of the movie.

  1. I didn’t even get through Little Nicky the first time I tried to watch it! Life’s too short to watch bad movies twice. But like the others above, if it’s a guilty pleasure, then hell yeah I’ll re-watch it.

    • Hahaha, true I don’t rewatch bad movies, but as I said I really enjoyed this one when I was younger….my movie taste was horrible I guess 😉

  2. He..he.. yes I absolutely do! I own the Tomb Raider 2 dvd but I only watch the scenes w/ Gerry Butler, he’s only there as Angelina’s boy toy but hey, I’m not complaining 😀

  3. I don’t rewatch bad films for scenes but if I’m watching tv and I catch a film half-way through and know a cool scene is coming up, I’ll keep watching until I see it. That’s as close as I get.
