I liked her as Margot Tenenbaum. She made the character her own. I don’t think I could imagine anyone else playing the role.
Yeah, she seems a good fit for the role indeed!
I never been a big Gwynneth Paltrow fan but she was great in The Royal Tenenbaums.
When I allowed people to vote which actor or actress would appear in this series she did not get a lot of votes, so it seems you are not the only one who thinks so).
Poor Gwyneth, she always seems to come in for a lot of criticism because of her private life. I’ve always liked Shakespeare in Love – not sure it was Oscar worthy, but she was very sweet in it.
She’s one of my best ever celeb spots, saw her at Heathrow Airport with one of her children. She is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.
I don’t get that. What’s so shocking about her private life?
Never watched Shakespeare in Love. Cool that you have seen her at Heathrow 🙂
I find her somewhat cold, but I did like her in the Michael Douglas movie, something with Murder?
That does not ring a bell with me…
I liked her in Shakespeare in Love … but the movie hasn’t held up well long term. I mean, no one watches it anymore. I wonder why not.
That’s a shame. I have never watched it so I would not be able to tell why.
Some movies seem to be “one view” movies. I liked it, but never felt a need to see it again. Some movies draw you back over and over. That isn’t one of them.
I know what you mean!

Ginnie in Flesh and Bone. It was her first major role and for me she’s never been better.
I have not watched many of her movies, but I do like her acting.
She looks beautiful in that main photo. I’m not really a huge fan of hers to be honest, so I don’t know what my fave role of hers would be, ahah.
I know not a lot of people are fan of her, but I think she did deserve an installment!
She’s been in a lot of great films but hasn’t really shined all that much. The Talented Mr. Ripley or Se7ven for me.
Great picks Chris!
I thought Paltrow was great in The Royal Tenenbaums.
It was a role which she played very well indeed Eric.
