Recently a friend of mine suggested I checked out a short called Record/Play. It is only 11 minutes, but well worth your time. I like its minimalistic approach and the concept behind it. You can check it out below:

This week’s question:
What’s a short you think others should check out?
This is the best short I have seen all year.

Will check that out. Thanks!
I’m locked out of WordPress. It’s not personal. Comcast has decided WordPress is either spam or a virus. It’s not OUR ISP — it’s this place we are staying so I’m really glad you aren’t part of WordPress. I can actually get to your site.
Anyone who has not seen The Porcelain Unicorn (http://youtu.be/hRMcPJrWm-g) absolutely should. Just three amazing minutes. A remakable accomplishment.
That is annoying!
The parallel line short were stunning. Have you watched them all? The idea behind them was that they all had to use the same lines of dialogue, but they ended up very different from each other (I was a big fan of the one with the robot)
I would love to see the others!
All of them can be found here and I guess if you search for the titles on Youtube you will be able to find them in a bigger format:

Since I don’t know the names, this is a big help. Thanks.
Nice question. I recently saw a short movie as a film festival I really liked called The Air Mattress. I can’t find it online, but it’s an excellent film.
Haven’t heard of that one, but I’ll mark it in my IMDB watchlist.
I’ve been getting into short film this year. There are so many, my favorite is Wasp (2003), by Andrea Arnold(the director of 2009’s Fish Tank)
I’m working on a top 50 short films list, which I’ll reveal during 2014.
Looking forward to seeing that list Chris!
