Great highlight here Nostra. Keener is such a fantastic actress and still a tad under appreciated in my opinion.
Thanks Mark. Yeah, she does not receive as much attention even though she plays so many solid roles.
That’s so great of you to single out Catherine Keener! She’s awesome.
Happy you enjoyed this one Brittani!
Great post. She is certainly underappreciated. Loved her in “A Late Quartet” as well as lots of other films.
Although I have seen her in A Late Quartet I have to admit I don’t remember much of that movie. She is underappreciated though.
I would probably say either Being John Malkovich or Lovely & Amazing. She’s one of my favorites.
Although I have not seen Lovely & Amazing I though that Being John Malkovich was cool..
I enjoyed her in Enough Said last fall.
Yeah, she was cool in that one
I’ve long held the view that Keener is underrated. I think she has eschewed mainstream cinema which has meant she’s drifted under the radar a little but she’s a terrific actress.
Can do nothing but agree with you on that Dan.
I agree with Dan that Keener is a terrific actress, especially if she is handed a strong role to play. That doesn’t always happen. I think my favorite role of hers is in Lovely & Amazing (2001)
Guess I will have to check out Lovely & Amazing as you are the second one to mention it Chris.
