The Gunfighter (2014) – Short film review

Review The Gunfighter

It’s Friday, so a great moment to start your weekend laughing and The Gunfighter is perfect to do so as it is one which doesn’t take itself serious and which will probably bring a smile to your face with its concept.

Review The Gunfighter

The setting of this short is a saloon in which a lonely cowboy enters. A voiceover tells what this cowboy has been through but as it turns out everyone in the bar can hear the voice (something Stranger than Fiction also did). It results in a very entertaining nine minutes. The dialog is smart and funny and the cast plays their roles convincingly.

  1. Just watched it. I admire the clever use of voice-over, although I’m not a fan of the vulgar direction comedy has taken in recent years. 7 out of 10 seems fair.
