The creation of Christmas sweaters is an art in itself and trying to wear the ugliest one has become a sport in many families and groups of friends. To get into the festive spirit (and allow you enough time to get them before Christmas arrives) let’s take a look at some of the coolest movie Christmas sweaters.
Home Alone
This sweater takes the iconic line from the fake Home Alone movie “Angels With Filthy Souls” which Kevin uses to scare away people. A great way to spread that Christmas cheer.
Harry Potter/Home Alone
This sweater combines the Home Alone line with the description the wizards in the Harry Potter movies use to describe “normal people”.
Elf
Two funny, classic lines from one of the most popular Christmas movies starring Will Ferrell, about an Elf who has never been to the real world.
Die Hard
Although the discussion will rage on whether or not Die Hard should be considered a Christmas movie, this sweater certainly makes a case for it being one. Not one you might want to wear when boarding a plane though.
A Christmas Story
Many will remember this classic line from A Christmas Story, which Ralphie hears many times asking for a Red Ryder bb gun.
Star Wars
With all the buzz around the new Star Wars trailer you can’t go wrong showing up with this awesome 8-bit inspired Star Wars Christmas sweater.
Gremlins
Many of the sweaters included here are not actually knit, but if you are looking for one than you can’t go wrong with this awesome Gremlins inspired one.
Fargo
With the Fargo tv show being a big success this sweater might be the perfect way to show your love for it as it matches the show’s logo.
Game of Thrones
If Fargo isn’t your show then this sweater might be more to your liking.
Which one(s) would you get?
Oh, I’ll take the Harry Potter, Gremlins, and Star Wars sweaters.
I’ve included the links (no commission for me or anything) in case you want to order them.
Personally I really love the Home Alone one π
So damn cool! I want pretty much all of them
I can imagine that!
Ha! I love these. Especially the last few.
Yeah, there are some awesome ones
I’ve fallen in love with the Fargo one…it’s brilliant!
I can imagine Allie, I like that one as well!
I love the Home Alone one. It’s funny because one of my coworkers just walked in with it last week. I totally might get that! Haha.
Cool. I had been wondering if I should get it but didn’t do so in the end. Maybe next year! π
