During the eighties there were a couple of movies that really managed to connect with the youth. Movies like Weird Science, Ferris Bueller’s day off and the Breakfast Club manage to give, beside a view into the thoughts of teenagers, a good image of the time period. All these movies were made by John Hughes, who passed away last year. For this movie he wrote the screenplay in 2 days.
