She gained experience doing plays and while still studying she started to do various TV shows including A Rather English Marriage, Wives and Daughters and Love in a Cold Climate. She almost considered a different career until she was offered the role of Bond girl in Die Another Day. This kickstarted her movie career and she has acted in various films including The Libertine, Doom, Pride & Prejudice, Fracture, Made in Dagenham, Barney’s Version, Wrath of the Titans, Jack Reacher, The World’s End and Gone Girl.
